Etna Hitech presents CLARA project at Ferrara RemTech


Etna Hitech through Clara consortium will be from 17 to 19 september at RemTech 2014 – 8th Remediation Technologies and requalification of Territory Exhibition at Ferrara Exhibition Center.

Gian Luca Galletti, Minister of the Environment, will open the Exhibition, that will host important Research Institutes and Italian and foreign companies specialized in activities of territories hazard prevention and requalification of territories.

Exhibitors will be more than ever this year. Etna Hitech will participate at the exhibition stand of the project Clara as coordinator of research and experimentation activities.



Besides at the Exhibition Center Clara project will be item by item presented on 19 September by the partners of the project, such as “Kore” University of EnnaUniversity of Catania, CNR and OGS – National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics, and a big group of firms such as Etna Hitech and Consortium ITER.

CLARA (Cloud platform and smart underground imaging for natural risk), is a project financed by MIUR, within the tender “National Smart Cities”, with a gross amount of 18 ml Euros. The experimentation of the project will be conducted in different local Institutions such as the Municipality of Matera and Ferrara, the District of Enna and the Civil Protection of Sicily. At the conference will be shown some case studies of territories involved in the project and other connected topics. Roberto Gueli of Etna Hitech will discuss about “Information Systems Cloud Open for Territories alert and emergency management”.



At CLARA’s Conference will be some CNR and OGS delegates and Corrado Santoro from University of Catania, that will discuss about monitoring, study and hazard prevention in urban areas.
