Etna Hitech attended with its President Emanuele Spampinato and the Board Member Mario Seminara at the Amsterdam Smart City Event 2014 last 13 and 14 May. With more than four hundred participants from over thirty different countries, the annual event dedicated to the Smart Cities took place at the Amsterdam Arena that, thanks to its sensors, solar panels and IT applications is stadium is one of the most “intelligent” stadium of Europe.
The two days event with interactive roundtable sessions, inspiring excursions and lots of networking opportunities was opened by the welcome speech of Rob Van Gijzel, Mayor of Eindhoven, elected as the smartest of the world. The event involved international guests from the academic community, and the political and business world, committed in the development of technological solutions for mobility, the health, information transmission and renewable energy in order to improve the sustainability and efficiency of the territories where they operate.
